overview

The small town of Bedaghat in Jabalpur district is known for it’s towering marble rocks, the Dhuandhar fall and the Chausat Yogini Temple. Enjoy boating through the river as you enjoy the stunning marble rocks. These picturesque marble formations have also been featured in various Bollywood movies like Bobby, Ashoka and Mohan Jodaro. See the Dhuandhar falls, which looks like smoke coming out of the river and therefore it got its name as ‘Dhuan’ (smoke) – ‘dhar’ (flow of water). A visit to Chousat Yogini Temple, the largest of the 4 total Yogini temples in India, is highly recommended. Yogini in Indian The statues of Yoginis were carved in 10th century ( Kalchuri period) and are a must see for their exquisite beauty. Bedaghat is a relatively hidden gem of the area which many outsider tourists miss as they directly depart from Jabalpur to the tiger reserves.

Kanha Tiger Reserve And Kanha Jungle Camp

Kanha National Park’s spectacular Sal and Bamboo forests, rolling grasslands and meandering streams, stretch over 1945 sq. km. in the heart of central highlands. This is the original Kipling country so fondly written about in his Jungle Book. Apart from being one of the finest places to see the tigers in the wild due to its healthy tiger population, this forest reserve is also home to the rare hard ground Barasingha found in its large grasslands.
Your stay in Kanha will be organised at Kanha Jungle Camp. Capturing the philosophy of immersive experiences, the 16 private eco-deluxe cottages are tucked amidst forty acres of reforested estate, adjoining the buffer zone of Kanha Tiger Reserve. Make your childhood wish of staying in treehouse come true. Our elevated and semi elevated cottages are inspired by the treehouse living and are perched at a height but giving you the spaciousness of a cottage. The lodge has been designed to be environmentally sensitive and ensures continued association with wilderness as you unwind from the rigours of the city-life.

Pench Tiger Reserve And Pench Jungle Camp

Nestling in the lower southern reaches of the Satpura hills, Pench National Park is aptly named after the Pench river, meandering through the park from North to South. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara. As you head deep into the park in your search for tiger, do not forget to look at other equally interesting predators like the elusive leopards and the dholes (wild dogs) in a pack. If you are lucky, you may catch them while hunting too. Look into the canopy of Mahua, Teak and Saja trees to spot over 325 species of resident and migratory birds including vultures, drongos, crested serpent eagles and the rare Eurasian cuckoo.
Your stay will be organised at our award winning lodge, Pench Jungle Camp. Nestled between the fifty acres of natural forested estate, our guests benefit from its unrivalled location of being just a five minute drive away from the park. Evoke the romance of travellers of yesteryears as you stay in tents but with all the luxury and modern amenities or simply choose to stay in our eco-deluxe cottages.
