You begin with a trip looking at the natural rock formations of Bedaghat. Narmada river slices through these otherworldly towering cliffs of marble rock formations which you can navigate on boat. Walk the long pathway to witness the Dhuandhar falls to see Narmada in all its glory crashing down at a 100 feet drop, followed by a trip to the historic Chousat Yogini Temple, to see beautifully carved statues of the 10th century. This is an area which is rich in fossils and in the past, scientists have discovered egg shells of dinosaurs too. Followed by a trip to Kanha and Pench Tiger Reserve, two of the well known parks of Central India. Both of these parks are known for their rich flora and fauna. Discover Central India’s forests that inspired Sir Rudyard Kipling’s most acclaimed work -The Jungle Book. The tour begins with the visit to Kanha Tiger Reserve. Kanha is not just one of the most beautiful parks in the country but it is perhaps the most well managed one with many successful conservation stories. With tall evergeen Sal and bamboo forests and the lush green grasslands fondly called the meadows of Kanha, this park provides a perfect backdrop to sight the Royal Bengal Tiger in the wild. One of the most successful conservation stories has been the revival of Barasingha’s population in the park.
After exploring Kanha, the tour takes you to Pench Tiger Reserve which charms you with it’s tall teak forests and the meandering Pench River. Apart from tiger, one can even sight the pack of wild dogs called dhole, leopard, jackal and Indian gaur. Both of these parks are rich in avian fauna too making them great places for bird watching.
